Not everything you want to buy comes from a shop. Sometimes the best phone, sofa or bicycle is being sold by someone down the road. We built Airsoko Listings, our classified marketplace, for exactly that, and it is part of Airsoko+.
What you can find
Listings is a place to buy and sell items, services and properties, with groups such as real estate, vehicles, electronics, furniture and fashion. Category filters include:
- Electronics, phones and tablets, computers and laptops.
- Vehicles and property.
- Fashion and clothing, furniture and home, appliances.
- Sports and outdoors, books and learning, baby and kids.
- Agriculture, services and other.
Filters that save time
You can narrow down by:
- County, with all 47 counties listed.
- Category.
- Condition: Brand New, Like New, Good, Fair and For Parts.
- Escrow only, for listings that support escrow payment.
- Delivery available.
You can sort by most recent, price low to high, price high to low or most popular, and search by keyword.
What a listing shows
Each listing card shows the category, condition, title, price, whether the price is negotiable, the county, the seller and how long ago it was posted. Listings that have sold are marked as such. Shoppers can save listings and message the seller.
Escrow badges: safer payment for classifieds
The biggest worry with classifieds is payment. Pay first and the item may never arrive; deliver first and payment may never come. We address this with an Escrow badge on Airsoko Listings.
As we put it on the Listings page: "When you see the Escrow badge, you can use Airsoko Pay to hold funds securely until you receive and confirm the item. This protects both buyers and sellers from fraud."
Airsoko Pay is the name we use within Neftac Group for our sister platform Paysasa. Our pricing page lists Airsoko Pay with wallet and escrow support, and M-Pesa STK Push, as payment methods.
Tips for buyers
- Prefer Escrow-badged listings when paying remotely.
- Inspect before confirming. Confirming releases the funds.
- Read the condition label and ask for extra photos.
- Never pay outside the platform to someone you have not met.
Selling on Listings
To sell, choose Sell Something or Post Listing. Posting works like this: submit details, approval by our admin team, then pay any posting fee and go live. Our pricing page shows the current posting fee for Listings and the price of an optional Featured Listing upgrade, which places your listing at the top with a featured badge.
Posting requires signing in and applying as a poster via Become a Poster.
Tips for sellers
- Choose the correct condition. Honesty prevents disputes.
- Add clear photos from several angles.
- Set the right county so nearby buyers find you.
- Mention delivery if you can deliver.
- Accept escrow where possible. Buyers trust it.
Listings vs the main marketplace
Our main Airsoko marketplace is for stores selling products, often in quantity, with features like AFS fulfilment. Listings suits individual items, used goods, vehicles, property and one-off sales. Both live under the Airsoko umbrella.

The Listings navigation includes My Listings, Saved, Pricing and an Academy link.
An example: selling a used phone
For example, say Kevin upgrades his phone and wants to sell the old one. He takes clear photos of the front, back, screen and any scratches, chooses Phones & Tablets, sets the condition to Good, enters his county and a fair price marked negotiable, and mentions that he can deliver within town. A buyer from the same county messages him, pays through Airsoko Pay escrow, receives the phone, checks it and confirms. Kevin is paid, and neither side had to trust a stranger with cash upfront.
Safety reminders for meet-ups
If you meet a buyer or seller in person:
- Meet in a busy public place during the day.
- Bring a friend if you can.
- Test the item before confirming payment.
- Keep conversations on Airsoko Messages so there is a record.
