Staffing your Xduka store

You can add staff accounts to your store and give them the permissions that they need to complete tasks like adding products or managing orders.

You can add staff accounts to your store and give them the permissions that they need to complete tasks like adding products or managing orders. You can also add collaborator accounts for Xduka Partners to work on your store and use permissions to control what sections of your store they can access.

Permissions help you manage what your store’s staff can do in your Xduka store. You can use permissions to delegate tasks and assign the level of access that your staff needs to perform their tasks effectively.

The pricing plan that your store is on determines how many staff members you can add in addition to the store owner.

Staff permissions

Permissions determine the level of access that your staff have to your store.

To allow your staff members access to help you to run your store, you need to give them permissions to access specific parts of your Xduka admin and to specific features. You can give staff members a high level of access or limit their access to very specific functions, depending on their position in your store.

In some cases, you need to give staff members multiple permissions to complete tasks in a particular area of you Xduka admin.

Staff members with reduced permissions have a scaled back view of the admin dashboard as soon as you save the permissions.

Here are the permissions related to various areas in Xduka:

  • Manage Products: Access to create, edit, and delete products in the store.
  • Manage Marketing Entries: Permission to handle marketing-related entries and campaigns.
  • Manage Payment Settings: Authority to configure and manage payment options and settings.
  • Manage Settings: Access to various store settings for customization and configuration.
  • Manage Orders: Permission to view, process, and manage orders placed by customers.
  • Manage Contents: Ability to handle and edit content across the store.
  • Manage Users: Authority to manage and configure user accounts and roles.
  • Manage Applications: Permission to manage and configure applications or plugins.
  • Online Store: Access to tasks and settings related to the online store.

These permissions collectively provide comprehensive control over different aspects of the Xduka store, ranging from products and orders to marketing.

These permissions help define the access levels for different roles within the Shopify environment.
