We want every shop, from a single kiosk to a growing chain, to be able to try Xduka POS properly before paying anything. That is why every Xduka POS plan includes a free trial, and no credit card is required to start.
In this post we explain how the plans are structured, how billing works and how to move between plans.
Three plans, clearly published

We currently publish three Xduka POS plans on our pricing page. Here is what each one includes:
Starter
A free plan for new stores. It includes the POS, inventory, customers and reports, with limits of 1 store, 2 staff and 50 products. Digital receipts are not included on Starter. Starter comes with a 14-day free trial.
Pro
A paid plan for a live store, priced at KES 300 per month or KES 2,500 per year. It raises the limits to 5 stores, 10 staff and up to 2,500 products, and adds digital receipts by email and SMS, billing and priority support. Pro comes with a 7-day free trial.
Enterprise
Priced at KES 999 per month or KES 7,999 per year, with unlimited stores and staff, up to 5,000 products, email and SMS digital receipts, email support and all features in the Pro plan. Enterprise comes with a 14-day free trial.
Prices and limits can change, so always check our pricing page for the current details before you decide.
No credit card to start
You can sign up and start using Xduka POS immediately, with no payment details needed. Use the trial to set up your real store, add products and run real sales so you can judge whether it fits your business.
How billing works: M-Pesa STK push
When you decide to upgrade to a paid plan, billing is handled from the Billing section of your dashboard. You choose a plan, pick monthly or yearly billing, and receive an M-Pesa STK push on your registered phone number. Approve the payment on your phone and you are done.

Change plans any time
Your needs change as your business grows. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Billing section. A shop that starts on Starter can move to Pro when it opens a second branch or needs more staff, and to Enterprise as it grows further.
Messaging credits
Digital receipts and invoice messages by SMS and email use credits. Paid plans include bundled credits, and you can top up SMS or email credits in batches paid via M-Pesa, credited on confirmation. We track your credit balance per store and shows clear alerts when messaging credits run out.
Which plan is right for me?
A few simple questions help:
- How many locations do you run? Starter covers one store; paid plans support more.
- How many people use the till? Count every cashier and manager who needs a login.
- How many products do you sell? A hardware store or supermarket will usually need more than 50.
- Do you want to send receipts by SMS or email? That requires a paid plan.
If you are unsure, start with the trial and look at your actual usage.
Data and security
We know you are trusting us with your business data. We use industry-standard encryption, and we store your data securely and never share it with third parties, as we set out in our pricing FAQ.
Quick checklist
- Sign up with no card required.
- Note your plan's store, staff and product limits.
- Upgrade from Billing when ready, approving the M-Pesa STK push.
Make the trial count
Set up your real store, add your top products and run real sales during the trial, so you can judge the fit properly.
