Order Cancellations

What to do if you or a buyer cancels an order.

Paysasa TeamUpdated 23 Apr 2026

What to do if you or a buyer cancels an order.

Overview

Sometimes, orders may need to be canceled by either the buyer or the seller. This guide explains how to handle order cancellations on Airsoko.

Steps for Handling Buyer-Initiated Cancellations

  1. Log in to your Seller Dashboard.
  2. Go to the “Orders” section and find the order in question.
  3. If the buyer requests a cancellation, review the request and decide whether to approve or deny it.
  4. Once approved, Airsoko will process the cancellation, and the buyer will be refunded accordingly.

Steps for Seller-Initiated Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel an order due to stock issues or other reasons, navigate to the specific order in your dashboard and select “Cancel Order.”
  • Provide a reason for the cancellation to keep the buyer informed.

Important Notes

Frequent cancellations may negatively affect your seller rating, so always aim to avoid unnecessary cancellations.

Get paid by M-Pesa, cards and wallets, safely.
