How to Brand Your Airsoko Store: Logo, Colours, Cover and Social Links

Your store page is your shop window. Here is how to set up your logo, cover image, colours, description, social links and storefront domain in our seller dashboard.

On a marketplace, shoppers often meet your products before they meet you. When they click through to your store, the page should look professional and tell them who you are. This guide covers the branding settings in our seller dashboard.

Screen names come from the seller dashboard at admin.airsoko.com and may change over time.

Why branding matters on a marketplace

Your Airsoko store page shows your rating, followers, a Follow button, a Message button, and tabs for products, collections, coupons, deals, reviews and About. A strong logo, cover and description make that page feel like a real shop. Branding helps with:

  • Trust. A complete store looks established.
  • Recognition. Returning customers know they have found you again.
  • Followers. Shoppers are more likely to follow a store with a clear identity.

Step 1: Open your brand settings

  1. Sign in to admin.airsoko.com.
  2. Go to Settings and open the Brand section, titled Store Branding.

The store setup checklist on the dashboard also links here for tasks such as uploading your brand logo and adding a brand description.

Step 2: Upload your logo and cover image

  • Logo. Your logo appears across the admin, the storefront and customer emails. Use a square or simple horizontal version that reads well at small sizes.
  • Cover image. The banner on your store page. Use a wide, uncluttered image that shows your products or style.
  • Social media logo, if you want a version for social sharing.

Use real images of your products or brand. Avoid images you do not have the right to use. Our Seller Agreement requires sellers to own or have the right to use content they upload.

Step 3: Set your colours

Enter your brand colours as HEX codes. Pick a main colour and an accent and use them consistently on your social media and packaging too.

Step 4: Write your description and slogan

  • Short description / excerpt. One or two sentences: what you sell and why shoppers should choose you.
  • Description. A longer story: who you are, where you are based, what you stand for.
  • Brand slogan. A short memorable line.

Write the way you talk to customers. Specific beats generic: "Handmade leather bags from Nakuru" says more than "Quality products at the best prices".

Add links to your social media profiles. They help shoppers discover more about you and give them more ways to follow your brand.

Step 6: Fill in contact details

Under Settings > General, add your public support email and support phone. There is an option to show these on your help centre pages.

Step 7: Connect a storefront domain (optional)

Under Settings > Domains, you can manage store domains, add a new domain, verify ownership and set redirects. In the setup checklist, this is the step for connecting your primary domain so customers can find your shop online.

Step 8: Organise with collections

Collections appear on your store page under Shop by collection. Group products in ways shoppers think, for example "New arrivals", "Office wear" or "Under KSh 2,000". You manage collections under Products > Collections.

Step 9: Check your store page as a shopper

Open your store on www.airsoko.com and ask:

  • Does the logo look sharp?
  • Is the cover image clear on a phone?
  • Does the About section tell my story?
  • Are my collections easy to browse?

Want a fully branded standalone store?

If you want a separate, fully branded online store you can share on social channels, look at Xduka POS, our sister platform for running your shop's till, stock and branded online storefront, with payment collections through Paysasa.

Branding tips that work on phones

Most shoppers browse on mobile, so:

  • Keep your logo simple with few words and strong contrast.
  • Avoid tiny text on your cover image; it becomes unreadable.
  • Put the main subject in the centre of your cover so it is not cropped.
  • Use the same colours on your packaging and social posts, so your brand feels consistent wherever customers see it.
  • Update your cover seasonally to keep your store looking fresh.

Keep it current

Review your store page every few months. Update your cover for campaigns or seasons, refresh your description as your range grows, and check that every social link still works.

A shop people remember

A branded store page turns a list of products into a shop people remember. Upload a clear logo and cover, set your colours, write a genuine description, add social links and organise collections.
